This time round Mowgli delivers four original tracks that combine pure body grooves with head-melting sonics… title track ‘Sequencer’ is a deep and dirty groover full of leaping off-kilter melodies… it’s delightfully twisted and we like it like that! The eerie chanting of ‘Alma Gitana’ soon gives way to siren-like synths and wobbly b-line techiness whilst ‘Hopeless’ is anything but… it’s spiralling, percussive intro is punctured by an almighty low-end rumble to get ‘em stomping! Mowgli may have saved the best til last though…. ‘Bassline’ employs bone-crushing sub-bass to devasting effect yet never loses the groove. Another fresh, offbeat and utterly funk-fuelled EP from Mowgli we sure you’ll agree!
